Then this is your surf camp. Immerse yourself in the exciting experience of the introductory Apnea for Surfers course, led by Diana García in collaboration with Carving Social Club at our cozy Surfhouse in El Palmar. This program, designed for all levels, offers a balanced combination of theory, dry exercises, and pool sessions, enhancing specific apnea skills for surfing. We address the sudden apnea experienced in surfing, providing essential techniques and knowledge to feel comfortable and secure in the water.

Surf Apnea course
Includes theory on apnea, surf apnea, physiology, marine mammal reflex, respiratory cycle, lung measurements, and anaerobic training. Dry exercises focus on the respiratory cycle and static apnea. The pool session covers static apnea, apnea with an elevated heart rate, and wave simulation.
By working on all these aspects together, you will better control your lung capacity and gain confidence in your surf sessions, having more control over the time you can spend underwater in motion after a wipeout.
Materials
We provide all the necessary material for the course, although you can choose to use your own equipment. This includes a wetsuit (optional booties, hood, and gloves), mask and snorkel, yoga mat and a notebook.
